1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Just Emails ("we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the Just Emails email verification service at justemails.co (the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

Just Emails is an email verification tool designed for one-to-one, high-stakes outreach. Our Service:

• Verifies email address correctness and deliverability
• Provides confidence scores and recommendations
• Is NOT intended for bulk email campaigns or mass verification
• Is NOT a contact database or email list provider
• Does NOT sell or resell verified email addresses; batch results are kept in your account for 30 days only

Important: Email verification provides confidence estimates, not guarantees. Results are probabilistic and should not be considered 100% accurate.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

3.1 Permitted Uses

• Verifying email addresses for one-to-one professional outreach
• Reducing bounce rates for important individual emails
• Checking email correctness before sending high-stakes messages

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use our Service to:

• Send spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or mass marketing campaigns
• Verify email lists for bulk email services
• Build, compile, or sell email databases or contact lists
• Harvest, scrape, or aggregate data for resale
• Violate any laws, including anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
• Abuse, harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our verification algorithms
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

4. Account Registration and Security

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits

5. Pricing, Payments, and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

• Free Plan: 1 free verification
• Credits: Pay-as-you-go credits for additional verifications
• Pro Plan: Monthly subscription with 50 lookups per month included; additional lookups use credits at discounted rates

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscriptions will maintain their current pricing until renewal.

5.2 Payments

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• All prices are in USD ($)
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled
• Credits do not expire once purchased
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all purchases

5.3 Refunds

Due to the nature of our Service (immediate delivery of verification results), we generally do not offer refunds. However:

• Technical issues: If our Service fails to deliver results due to our error, we may issue credits or refunds at our discretion
• Unauthorized charges: Report unauthorized charges within 30 days for investigation
• Pro subscriptions: You may cancel at any time, but no refunds for partial months

6.1 By You

• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time via your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You may delete your account at any time
• Purchased credits remain available after cancellation

6.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your use poses a security risk or could harm our Service
• Payment for your subscription fails
• Required by law or to comply with legal process

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, algorithms, and verification methods, is owned by Just Emails and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of our Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Important Privacy Commitments:

• We do NOT store the personal email addresses you verify when using the free tool (no account)
• Batch job results are stored in your account for 30 days so you can revisit and export them; we do not sell or share this data
• We do NOT build or sell contact databases
• We do NOT share your verification or batch results with third parties
• Verification results are cached temporarily (72 hours) for performance, then deleted
• We only retain domain-level patterns for service improvement (no personal data)

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy

Email verification is probabilistic, not deterministic. We provide confidence estimates and recommendations, but we do NOT guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of verification results
• That verified emails will not bounce
• Deliverability to the recipient's inbox
• That the email address is monitored or read by the recipient

9.2 Service Availability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without notice.

9.3 Third-Party Services

Our Service may use third-party services (DNS lookups, SMTP probes, public data sources). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of third-party data.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Just Emails and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or regulations
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your use of the Service for prohibited purposes
• Spam or bulk email activities using our verification results

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Just Emails regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
